It has been over a month, but YeboTV, based out of Mayfield Hts., Ohio, has finally posted full video footage of the Strung Out concert at the Cleveland Agora on October 18th. It’s great to see free video from one of the best Strung Out performances I have ever seen live.

Is Newsvine The Next SEO Hater?
It appears the trusted news website Newsvine is now eliminating accounts without any warning. They appear to be following suit of other popular news and media sites like Digg and Squidoo, where SEOs and online marketers are not shown much love. News releases I posted across multiple accounts for my online marketing clients were completely cut away from the news vine.
Yes, I am aware of the Newsvine Code of Honor, and may have had borderline infringement on code #3, but an e-mail warning or message from a community member would have been well received on my end.
Not to give you a bunch of sour grapes, but if it’s editorial integrity that Newsvine is concerned with, then check out this outstanding article from the Newsvine homepage today - Yes Jenna Bush Is Pregnant…by an Alien… - some very substantial discussion.

Strung Out Air Drumming Contest
This was such a great idea for a contest! An excellent example of using viral marketing and social media outlets to promote a new record by one of my favorite bands, Strung Out. The contest was first announced on MySpace on June 12th, 2007, and contestants were required to send an e-mail to Fat Wreck Chords with a YouTube link.
I had a good laugh when watching the finalists on YouTube. I wish I would have entered… if I knew the slightest bit about Jordon Burns’ drumming, or thought of a clever idea to make a fool out of myself. My vote for the best air drummer was Ian Bruski.

We posted the finalists from the Strung Out Air Drummer contest in the poll section on the front page.
